We can help you choose the right product, identify the right components and specifications, locate a quality contractor for installation, or even coach you through a DIY project.

Wind Resistant
Most roofing products rely on gravity or adhesives for wind resistance; those products lose Wind Resistance as they age. Classic Metal Roofing System products have panels that interlock on all sides and edges. That interlocking nature creates a mechanical lock between the panels, holding them in place during high winds rather than relying on gravity or glue alone.

Fire-Resistant
We are the leader in producing fire-safe roofing for residential applications. Our products are lightweight and eligible for Class A, B, or C fire ratings as determined by roof preparation. In addition to being fire-resistant, our products are made from 95% recycled materials and are fully recyclable.

Durable
Classic Metal Roofing System products are manufactured using only the best first-run aluminum and top-quality Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® PVDF resin-based finishes. They are designed to be installed using concealed fasteners, eliminating failure-prone rubber washers beneath exposed screw heads. This allows our products to perform the same in 30 or 40 years as they do when new.

Warranted
Highlights of the metal roofing industry’s most comprehensive warranty: With the purchase of a Classic Metal Roofing System, you receive a Lifetime Limited Warranty covering Manufacturer’s Defects, a special warranty on the roof’s finish, a 120 mph wind warranty on the roof system and our manufactured components, and more. This warranty can be transferred to multiple owners for 40 years.
Why steel roofing is not the best choice for Island Life:
While you undoubtedly love island or coastal life for the wonderful weather it offers, salt water, salt air, and salt fog create a highly corrosive environment. Exposed steel will begin to rust in a matter of days or even hours. For this reason alone, we recommend only our aluminum products for salt environments.
Yes, a quality paint finish will protect steel from rust, but the cut edges of steel roofing panels cannot develop a protective zinc oxide coating quickly enough to not rust. Any scratches on metal roof panels can rust very quickly. Blowing sand can also cause paint coatings to wear thin on edges and high spots, exacerbating the potential for rust.
Aluminum, on the other hand, has a time-proven history in salt environments. Our heavy duty .032” thick USA-made aluminum has been carefully engineered to provide robust durability and great life expectancy. Coupled with our energy-efficient PVDF coatings, our ClickLock aluminum standing seam offers a premium, permanently rust-free option for your island or coastal home
