Universal Standing Seam Specifications
Universal Standing Seam panels have a snap-action seam to ensure a weathertight roof. An integral fastening hem provides for concealed fasteners with slotted holes to allow for the metal’s natural expansion and contraction.

Steel: Universal Standing Seam is produced from top quality USA-made G90 galvanized steel. The metal thickness is .0216” before paint. All accessories and trims are made from matching metal.

Finish: Universal Standing Seam is coated with a baked-on, protective primer and Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® PVDF resin-based coating. Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® are trade names for polyvinylidene fluoride resin. This high quality, industry-leading finish includes reflective pigment to maximize energy efficiency. The backs of each panel are finished with a protective clear coat.
