Rustic Shingle is an aluminum roofing system which protects homes from rain, snow, hail, and winds up to 120 mph with its four-way interlocking design. With its realistic and classic design and advanced finish, Rustic Shingle adds beauty and value for a lifetime. Reflective pigments in the finish combine with the product’s integral airspace and thermal break to maximize building energy performance. For over 50 years, Rustic Shingle has provided beauty and protection to homes around the world, making it one of the roofing industry’s most proven and widely used products.
Material
Aluminum
All aluminum panels and accessories are made of 3105-H25 aluminum sheet (minimum tensile strength 26,000 psi; minimum yield strength 22,000 psi) or equivalent. Made from quality, up to 99% recycled aluminum, the majority of which is post-consumer.

Rustic Shingle panels are fully interlocking and feature concealed fasteners. The deeply-formed aluminum shingles provide a realistic wood shingle or shake appearance. The product’s low weight allows installation over many existing roofs.
Finish
Industry-leading PVDF Coating Technology
Rustic Shingle panels and factory-formed accessories are protected with a two-coat, high-performance Sherwin Williams® Fluropon, a Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 PVDF resin-based coating, which includes a protective primer and baked-on high-performance topcoat to resist chalking, fading, and deterioration. The finish includes reflective pigment to enhance the product’s energy efficiency.
